So, ummmm yeah... that happened. After 20 years of the DSC, they have gone off the air! Free Radio, America's Radio, the People's airwaves is ceasing to exist. This part is begging for comments so let's turn this into an open discussion. Some of you will say, "Big deal..." "I didn't like listening to talk on my music station..." "I want to hear music and as soon as I hear someone talking I change stations anyways..." I promise you this is a big deal. What are we going to lose next? Payola found it's way back in the black hearts of programming a decade ago. We weren't hearing real new music, we were hearing who was going to get someone the bigger bonus for most spins or who was going to sponsor the local radio shows concert.
Radio Free Europa... Where is Radio Free Amerika? It has a price now... cable radio, IHeartradio.com, a membership to a website, internet connection... do you know how much it cost to have a mobile broadband internet connection? I bet you do! Gone are those days I can duct tape a transistor radio to my Diamonback and hear the new Ozzy track while poppin' wheelies to get a better signal on an aluminum foil antenna. I'm all about advancement of technology, there are some things that were just not broke and don't need a fix. I need my fix!

Stay on the Edge
Hey there! Molten here!
Whether is the edge of the Empire State Building, the edge of Rock 'n Roll, the edge of your seat or the edge of sanity STAY... on the edge. We do not know what our calling for in life is, so it's OK to try something, fail and start over. Hold onto our Passion and our heart will bring us back.
I have loved music for ages, since I was a little person. I was not aware there was musical talent in my family so it never got nurtured, hence I had to seek it myself. I can't play a lick of an instrument yet I know what sounds good. I can make a helluva playlist! My spiritual gift is Teacher/Motivator which means I don't do much well but I sure can tell you how great you are doing it!
One of the greatest bands alive that are vital to my existence in the 80's is Nitzer Ebb. They are coming to town on Thursday night and I am stoked to be able to go. So talking Jean-Pierre into letting class out early on Thursday would be the Bees Knees! Then we can all...
